It's still fall so enough time left to enjoy those amazing fall fruits like pear and kaki - in a crumble! This delicious fall crumble is sugar- and oil free and also makes a wonderful breakfast on those chilly mornings.
My boyfriend and I just got back yesterday from moving some of our furniture and boxes full of our stuff to our new appartment in Würzburg, Bavaria. I am especially excited about our kitchen, which we will set up on the weekend with the help of my dad. It's bigger and brighter than my current kitchen so it's going to be a lot of fun cooking and baking in it once we move in after Christmas!
As we speak of baking, have your tried my cinnamon crunch granola recipe yet? It's so easy to make and super good - and I realized it's just as great as a crumble topping! Trust me. On the bottom you have your soft and sweet fruits while the granola topping stays nice and crunchy.
Usually crumbles are loaded with sugar and butter - not this crumble. For this recipe we use a bit of maple syrup and of course fruits to sweeten. Since it's (still) fall, kakis and pears make the perfect base for this fall crumble. Instead of butter there is just a bit of tahini or nut butter in the granola topping.
Sounds great, doesn't it? It's so great that you can even have this fall crumble for breakfast. Simply serve it with some plantbased yogurt or maybe even a scoop of ice cream?!
