I’m a passionate vegan food blogger who loves everything colorful, plant-based, and seriously delicious. On Veggie Jam, I share creative, everyday recipes that show just how simple and versatile a balanced vegan diet can be.

How It All Started

Let’s rewind a few years. Between 2009 and 2012, I lived in the U.S. as an Au Pair and student—and let’s just say… “balanced nutrition” wasn’t exactly a priority back then.
The reality check came after two months in front of the mirror. A quick look at my daily menu explained everything: chocoalte-chip frappuccino for breakfast, grilled cheese for lunch, burgers and fries for dinner—plus a pack of chocolate-covered peanuts on the couch. Surprise: that had consequences.
So I started researching, experimenting in the kitchen, and learning more about nutrition. The real turning point came in 2013 during my nutrition studies, when I discovered a plant-based, mostly whole-food approach—and stuck with it.
Since then, I’ve had more energy, feel so much better, and learned one important thing: healthy, balanced food doesn’t have to be boring—it can be delicious, creative, and fun.

Fun Facts
- I used to play trumpet and baritone horn—these days I mostly channel that energy into dramatic appreciation of film scores. Especially anything by Hans Zimmer.
- My home gym is my happy place. While I work out, Jamie Oliver is usually cooking in the background—perfect mix of fitness and food inspiration.
- I can basically recite (and sing along to) The Lion King from start to finish. Whether that’s enjoyable for others… debatable.
