Fresh, fruity and nutritious! Made with just 5 ingredients, this dairy-free pineapple cauliflower smoothie bowl is the perfect way to get vegetables in at breakfast.

Smoothies and smoothie bowls give you a perfect opportunity to integrate a load of green leafy vegetables to your diet diet. But have you tried mixing in other vegetables like cauliflower? Putting frozen cauliflower in a smoothie may sound bizarre and even gross - but trust me, it is amazing.

[feast_advanced_jump_to]

Frozen cauliflower doesn't only add important nutrients like fiber, vitamins and minerals - compared to leafy greens it also gives the smoothie a more creamy texture. And another big plus: You will neither taste nor see the cauliflower.

Cauliflower - Use frozen cauliflower, it's far more convenient than chopping up a fresh head. If you happen to have a few fresh cauliflower florets lingering in the fridge, go ahead and use those. The smoothie won't be as "frosty", though.

Bananas - Apart from cauliflower, this recipe als contains frozen bananas for creaminess. Only freeze bananas that are ripe, otherwise they won't be sweet enough.

Pineapple - The star of this smoothie bowl (or ist it the cauliflower, actually?). Pineapple to me is one of the best summer fruits, as it is incredibly refreshing and super sweet. It's also great in overnight oats.

Lime juice - To balance out the sweetness of the pinapple and banana. You can also use lemon juice, I prefer the tartness of the limes in this recipe, though.

Pineapple juice - When cutting a fresh pineapple, you'll usually be able to collect a bit of that delicious pineapple juice, so let's not waste that. You can also use coconut water or tap water.

I hope you’ll give this delicious Pineapple Cauliflower Smoothie Bowl a try.
