Hey there and welcome to my new blog ‘Veggie Jam’.
I’m happy you’re here! For those of you who do not know me: I am Melanie and I’ve been eating a plant-based diet since 2013. I used to blog over at “Melis bunte Studentenküche” (Meli’s colorful student kitchen) but now I decided to start a new blog as I am officialy not a student anymore! Why “Veggie Jam”?
I’d been searching for a great blog name for a while. My boyfriend and I had lots of different ideas but none of them really appealed to me in terms of what I would like to represent here on this site. One day, while we were talking about PB and jelly (probably one of our most favorite topics :)), my boyfriend came up with “Veggie Jam” and I thought it was a perfect fit. As on my first blog, I want to show my readers (you!) that plant-based cooking with colorful, wholesome ingredients is delicious and fun – and I think “Veggie Jam” sounds just as colorful and fun!
What to expect?
On my new blog I’m going to continue sharing my vegan recipes and daily stories with you. I would also like to include a few posts about health-related topics here and there, as I am very interested in the scientific aspects of nutrition. And if you have any suggestions or requests for posts, please feel free to contact me. Also, I set up this blog all by myself (and gosh, it was a lot of work), so please bear with me if technical difficulties come up in the beginning.
